MÉOS is a multidisciplinary team affiliated with the Université de Montréal and is made up of researchers with social science backgrounds (sociology, history, psychology, ethics), all of whom have an interest in medication as social object. Under the leadership of Johanne Collin, the MÉOS team, which is funded by the FRSQ (Québec Health Research Fund), has enjoyed a dynamic boost from its affiliation with the Research Group on the Social Aspects of Health and Prevention (GRASP), its institutional home at the Université de Montréal. The GRASP constitutes a major avenue for recruiting members and integrating students trained in the social sciences. |
